I live in Amsterdam but I'm from the UK. I received my DPhil (PhD) in Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and since then I've worked at the University of Birmingham, King's College London, Northeastern University (London campus), and Utrecht University.
At the University of Amsterdam (UvA), I am a member of the Faculty of Humanities Ethics Committee, where I review research applications that involve human participants and data. I'm also the UvA representative at the Dutch Research School of Philosophy (OZSW) Ethics and Political Philosophy chamber.
At the risk of sounding painfully earnest, I suppose I should also share that outside of work I can be found reading fiction (with and without my book club, Novel Ideas), watching films (shout out Cineville), and learning Dutch (help).
